About Me

 

Hi everyone, my name is Tim Szarka and I am a professional artist blacksmith.

I stared forging at the age of 16, helping out the local village blacksmith in my home village and one in the neighboring town. I started my apprenticeship in 1997 when I entered The School of Special Arts and Crafts in Debrecen, Hungary.

I am working as a blacksmith ever since and been blessed to be able to work in several shops across Europe and the US, doing the thing I am most passionate about: forging.

Currently I am running my own shop Desert Owl Forge in Southern Nevada, 45 miles South West of Las Vegas.
