update on the vintage GE motor ,,,put new brushes into it nothing so I took it to a place in town and the said it was toast (armature) so iam sending it to a place in Florida that can get it going again ,if it aint crazy high been trying to find a replacement for it but no look yet the closest Ive got so far is a unit bearing motor but have not been able to put my hands and eyes on one to see if I can make it work ,not to many motors out there with a 3/8 shaft that's 2 in long

Thanks for the reply the outlet is 4 in the inlet is also 4 and the cage it self is 5 in motor if I can get it working says 1725 speed 1/20 hp I took the motor apart and it needs brushes hope it works if not might try to hook a new one up to the blower the blower itself is nice and heavy duty

what do yall do with your scrap pieces , ? you keep ,scrap or just chunk them?

any one have a fire pot from LMF? I purchased one with a clinker breaker they didn't have the elbow so I got one from Centuar , the throat of the elbow will not let the clinker turn completely 180 degrees ,also is it supposed to be welded to the flange plate or held on with two bolts and washers ???????

just picked me one up yesterday paid $150.00 for it well made ,but they didn't include the mounting flange ,that's twice I was told that its supposed to come with one ill call back and find out

hello folks new one here I have a coal forge that a friend built then he decided to use gas so I got this one my problem I can get a fire going but its hard to keep iam thinking that the fire pot my be to big is this possible or do I need more time to practice (the firepot is a truck rim and drum I think
