Micheal,
Use them some but not enough to hurt them.
When she ask why your not using them all the time just tell someday she will understand.
They are definitely a priceless treasure.
Someday she will be very thankful you didn't wear them out.
I'm sure you already know this!
Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us.

Looks good.
I have one that I need to replace the handle on also. It seems to be peened too.
How were they put on originally? Screwed on maybe.
How did you go about cleaning?
Wish I had the original legs for mine.
Anyway, Very nice clean up
Thanks for showing it

I also like your nail header.
Could you show us some good pictures of it. And tell what you make it out of.
A video of you making it would be very good.

Glad to learn about the tape. I have heard something kinda like this before but had forgotten about it. Thanks for refreshing this old memory.
Stampman, Sure do like my stamp. I also will probably get another one.

I've seen it here a bunch of times but it is easier for me just to ask.

Like what has been mentioned, Get a "bite guard".
You'll be glad you did. After you have it then work on what is causing it when you work.
And your dentist is probably right about grinding your teeth at night. I thought my dentist had a loose screw also. He didn't though! -
For awhile now I've been thinking something was just not right ( I mean bsides all the work that is been done on the upgrade). Just yesterday it dawned on me that I haven't seen a post from Frosty in sometime. Kinda had cold chills. Then just a few minutes ago I saw this. Frosty, with all the prayers you have been getting God can't help but to fix you (good as new or maybe even better).
God bless you both. Take care of him Deb.

Nothing compared to what everyone else has shown.
But I like it. Built by my great grandfather in the late 1800's for a blacksmith shop.
Trying to post some attachments but can't get them to load.
Maybe later. -
Mr. Hofi,
Really like the corkscrew and your pictures of how you do it.
But I kept looking at the knot. I sure would like to try that.
Do you have a blueprint or pictures of it?
Thank You

ironstein,
Nice set up
Especially like your hood
Did you do it yourself or have it built?
I need to get some kind of hood and stack set up. Gets kinda smoky in my little shop at times.
Thanks for showing it to us

I have a fairly new drill press. I've noticed when drilling a hole that is an inch or more deep it doesn't drill straight. I'm sure it's off on short holes too, just don't notice it as much. I've checked the manual. Just wondering if anyone here has a good way they check before they drill a long hole (or any hole).
Thanks

Some good information here.
Thanks
