  1. Hey Mark! Brian usually reaponds to ifi but he has been so busy. The kid was really into it and super focused. Is Danny still forging with you sometimes? We really miss you and are working on comming to CA in the fall for Tony Swatton's gig. Hope you all have a fun Easter too...love to the family!

  2. Bernhard, are you in the states now? I owe you a hammer. Let me know how I can get it to you. My # is 559-679-4106.

  3. Hi, I don't know what part of SC you are in but Brian will be teaching a tool and hammer making class in Sumter SC next weekend if you want to stop by. There is another event in Pontiac Sc comming in July also....Karen

  4. Thanks,
Glad you got something out of it.

  5. Hey, Caleb. It's good to see you on IFI! Brian

  6. hey, Mark. This 3G network sucks. We're in Mississippi now, and this is the first time that it's worked halfway decent. I didn't see the tools you're talking about. Did you post them? The first class went great. Everyone made their hammers and handled them, and we made and left them with all the tools to make more hammers. [2 punches, 2 drifts, hump tools, cupping tool for 1 1/4" hardy hole, top and bottom fullers]

  7. Chris, I don't know how to draw on the computer yet. Give me a call anytime. 559-679-4106 The 1045 can work if you're making hammers out of 1045, but 4140 is tougher. I'd rather be making hammers out of 1045 because it yeilds to the hammer much easier than 4140, but I'd rather make the punches out of 4140 or 5160. Brian

  8. Well, Brian is actually in the forge and it was me, Karen (the GF) that answered you. I went out to tell Brian about your intrest and he said if you are on after work he would be able to chat then.

  9. 200$ per person and they all go home with a finished hammer and alot of forging information but there is a lot more to it. Let me send you the info, it explains how your organization can also benefit

  10. We will travel. If you are involved in a blacksmith or farriers assoc. or any group of 10 people you could have a clinic. A clinic can be one, two or more days. We bring the tools needed. It can be a hammer clinic, tools to make hammers clinic, traditional forging workshop or any combination. email me at brazealbrothers@yahoo.com and we will send you more info. Also check out myspace.com/brazealbrothers If you can make a hammer, you can make anything.
