Thanks... I have been reading a lot on the forums and basically have a decision to make Spend less money on a railroad anvil of sorts OR Spend more money on proper anvil. Is there another option ?????

To be honest something I found is that when you want to get forging just find a technique and just practice on scrap metal.

When I say anvil wanted I mean any solid block of steel/iron. Railroad is what I'm thinking. If anyone knows a good place to get such a thing then thank you. Any help appreciated
