  1. I would like to chime in as a newby and second the size of the forge. Just destroyed a chainsaw chain billet because the forge was not deep enougH (have since built a new forge)
  2. I second the west systems epoxy, but I am new to making blades I have used it on spearguns and west systems performs flauless for the under water guns. I did epoxy on my first handle with no pins but the knife has not seen much use. So as far as how well it will keep holding you all would know much better than me
  3. Another product for epoxy for the handles is called west systems it is a marine epoxy the will stick just about anything together. Just don't let it set up on anything you want to take apart. The wood will tear apart befor the glued joint if applied correctly.
  4. Mike thank you for the links I just returned from Walla Walla and drove right htrough Klamath Falls. I will look into joining as soon as I get home thank you again. Kris
