$65.00 an hour. for welding, forging, machining whatever, I just go at $65 an hour. Most of what I do is weld on heavy equipment and trailers and stuff.

I have a 180c with the spool gun, it is very good for the money. The wire drive is all metal. Its welds all day with no problems.

I use HSS the most, but I like to use carbide too.

I cut them often. I take off the valve and fill them with dish soap and water and let it sit for a week or two, then cut with a torch or plasma cutter.

I do not know of any other store where a person can buy a gallon of milk, diapers, a can of spray paint, a shotgun and ammo, 15 live goldfish, a blender, a pair of spiderman underwear, a bottle of jack daniels, new tires put on the truck and a bag of manure, while you are waiting for your anti-depressant prescription filled.

Things are going slower then I want them too. I have not had much money to put into it lately, so Im making do with stuff I can get free. Dunno what the roof is gonna be made of yet, depends on what I find laying around. I made it a octagon shape to make the best use of the 8' angle iron I used to build it. Learning alot about electrical stuff right now. The electrical is the worst part of my current shop, so I want to do this one good.

Two weeks ago I called 911 twice, and the police never came. Its sad to say, but you are lucky the police came. I live in a very rural area, and crime is rare, but I keep a AR15 with 31 rounds near me most all the time.

I have both oxy-propane and oxy-acetylene in my shop, they both work. Oxy-propane is cheaper.

that is a lincoln ac welder. $75 is a good price. they are about $350 new i think. i have a ac/dc one like that. works very good.

I have 3 chop saws, a dewalt abrasive saw, a harbor freight abrasive saw and a evolution cutoff saw, like what you call a dry saw. I like the evolution saw the best, very fast cut.

Yep, same here I used quick disconnects, and added 40' to the stinger, and 30' to the ground. Works fine.

I had a big mouse problem, glue traps and peanut butter worked well, still
looking for a cat to keep them away.
