Hello, here a further information: length of the slides diameter 16:
- 1 of 300 mm
- 1 of 270 mm
tThe slide of 300 exceeds lower part of the base of approximately 30 mm to enter the hole of the anvil. tThe width of the fixing of the base depends on width of the anvil.

Hello with all, if I included/understood the question..... the square hole is useful for the "stamps" and the round hole of the top crosses the anvil, I makes use of it to place forms or my "third hand". The translation of the word for word text is sometimes surprising.

If your workshop is a too small here trick "to play the 4 corners" .....box + sand + anvil = approximately 230 kg
