    I have been considering something simular and the best thing i have come up with is based on a jig i saw here a few weeks ago. The idea is a cone shaped step spiral it would be more of a die than a jig. Put the end of the taper into a slot in the end of the cone then follow the spriral around. Then press it flat to end the creation.

    Nice set, I particularly like the tongs, they give me some ideas. The work end of the poker has a unique shape that i am not familiar with. Does it serve a purpose other than increasing the pushing surface?

  3. Wetstone Sharpeners

    I have been considering building a wetstone sharpener out of Arkansas stone has anyone here had any experience in this area? I see some really nice looking knives here. I have always sharpened my knives on flat stones but wanted to explore the posssiblities of a slight hollow grind. Any thoughts on the subject are appreciated.
