no its just a quick sketch

im planing on building a shed (shop) so i can forge year round its going to be 8'x12'x10'. Im making it out of plywood but im worried that the noise will be overwhelmingly loud in side and was planing on using expanding foam on the inside to cut down on the noise reverberating around. Do you think this will work? if not what would u suggest?

i have been reading about tempering in a home oven but was wondering about what temperature should it be done at for rail road spike knives?

i had a problem with the old rust spots (divots) on my knives on the handles if you grind the spikes prior to forging it will give u a smoother finish

for Damascus u can use pcb etchant solution u can find at radio shack i think it 5$
