  4. Hey everyone its been a while since i've posted so i thought id put up some of my newest blades! There are 3 of them just in time for hunting season: Tiger hunter 2 bar twist hunter Ladder recurve hunter Let me know what you guys think of these

  7. Here she is, The long awaited unveiling of the Mosaic damascus completed knife.. Dad calls it.. "TactiCOOL!!!" The specs.. OAL 9 1/4 inches with a 4 1/2 inch blade! The handle is Ivory Mircarta with Ebony cross inlay!!!! And mosaics... Feel free to comment or critique!

  9. We're thinking ivory marcarta w/black white black liner, and possible some scrimshaw!
  10. BSB: If you want check out bruce bumps tutorial on knifedogs, i watched it and then with a little luck and a prayer came up with this blade!!! Mitch: Its still up in the air what the handle is gonna be, still waiting for the perfect piece of burl to talk to me!!! :)
  11. Heres the blade ready to be heat treated! 9 1/2 inch tactical shape, i think is awesome lmk what you think about the balde shape I'll put up the pics of the finished knife as soon as its done!!!
  12. Thanks John, it took some time but i think it was worth it. tang welded on and working on it right now i'll put some pics of of the final shape before we put the handle on it. Thats what i though about the mosaic, but i didnt want to call it that without really knowing if it was.
  13. thanks everyone I had an awesome time making this one! Kevin- i wish i had a press! it would really allow me to do some next level patterns. No can either i havent used one yet, but im sure i will since im still very new to this( this is my 4th billet) and am very willing to try new techniques. you guys would proly laugh if you saw how i made some of those welds without one though. raturay: dad and i saw a few guys basket weave pattern that were incredible(made with a press of course) but we looked at each other and both were thinking the same thing, LETS GO FOR IT!!! Bruce Bump gives a great example on knifedogs Also i heard that this is considered mosaic damascus, what do you guys know about that?
  14. Here it is my first basket weave pattern! I'm stoked about it but im a little bias So let me know what you guys think. I'll be posting more pics of the knife when its finished.

  17. i have been doing it by hand, it is alot of work but im loving every minute of it! Really want to take it to the next level though so were working on either making or getting a press.
  18. Here it is! Decided on marsian masur birch burl, with buffalo horn bolsters. It is available for sale on our website.

  22. Hello Im Randy Haas Jr. of HHH Knives, i very new to damascus making and forging in general, but this is my second blade.(i made a folder blade first). I think its awesome but like i said im very new, so i was wondering what other people think about it, Thanks for lookin, and God Bless
