This is a set of fireplace tongs I forged for the Central Minnesota Blacksmiths July Hammer-in at my place today(7/11/15). I started with 23" of 1/2"x1/2" square stock. (inspired by Tubbe's Post in "Members Projects"  under Fireplace tongs). - good demo item and about the right time, I just didn't quite have time to do the last little bit of filing to touch them up on the handle end.
