Gah, how inhumane.  Anvils forced to stay on top of other anvils!  You know, I could help out.  I could let one of those live a nice, free range life ;)

I agree with Kerry, I'd keep it warm at night, and day.....oil it down when it's getting tired......Introduce it to my friends, mister hammer, and mister post-vice......

ya we prefer to see "free range anvils" nice collection though. my wife doesnt undestand the whole collection thing, i tell here shes lucky tobacco pipes are cheaper than blacksmithing eqp..

I am so crushed right now. I looked at your profile and saw WA thinking Western Australia, but no...........so crushed....so crushed. Going to cry myself to sleep and dream of hidden treasure hoards of anvils and leg vices lol

I'd only pile them up like that if they'd fornicate and make little anvils.  My 2 anvils (one a RR track mounted vertically) get abused at least twice a week, if not more.
