DonS
Air Hammer Thanks for posting the picture of your air hammer Kallsme'n. The local Princess Auto store in Edmonton has air cylinders that are 40mmx300mm and I was wondering if that was big enough for a 30-40 pound air hammer. It looks like it is. What is the diameter of the anvil shaft that you used? (I have a piece of 5-inch diameter 36 inches long, but It might be too light.) sqeezplay
hhmm i've got a bunch of huge old hydrolics off of an old columbine. do you think they would work for a hammer? if so how would i hook it up? i have not a clue with anything hydrolic, so give me the "Hydrolic for Dummies" version. thanks! Kallsme
I think your cylinder would fit perfect DonS. The sice of the anvilschaft is 170mm ( allmost 7" and 800mm long) But i think you can use your pices for a 30 pound hammer. You can weld it on a thick iron plate, maybe a 2 inches. Good luck Sorry squeesplay, I
