The handle is gorgeous dyed maple burl that has been stabilized. Spacers are imitation elephant ivory, nickel silver and black. The guard and butt cap are 416 Stainless.
December 12, 200817 yr first of all beautiful blade does stabilized mean that it will not split, if not what does stabilized mean, sorry
December 13, 200817 yr corect me if im wrong but sabalized means that the wood has been impregnented with resin which makes it much stronger and stops it from rotting
