June 21, 20251 yr Just wishing you all a bright happy summer Solstice. Tomorrow we begin the long slide into winter's long dark nights. Sun's down in a few minutes here at latitude 61 and a bit north. Be well all. Frosty The Lucky.
June 21, 20251 yr Thanks, Frosty, but we (in Florida) have to get through four months of swelteringly hot and humid weather and some hurricanes. In November we'll start our eight months of delightful weather. Perfect forging weather. Nate The Grasshopper
June 21, 20251 yr Happy Solstice Frosty...How did the last aurora borealis materialize, read an article earlier this month that there was a strong possibility of a fantastic show. I can’t control the wind. All I can do is adjust my sails. ~Semper Paratus~
June 21, 20251 yr Author Summer IS the season for the strongest aurora, unfortunately it hasn't gotten dark enough to see much in the sky less bright than the moon for a couple months. Next August if a person wants to stay up late enough, September can put on shows though. Born on the longest day of the year eh? I bet the Mrs. wouldn't have argued about that! Frosty The Lucky.
