March 14, 20251 yr At $4.08 U.S. per pound it should sell fast, depending on where it's located. Paragon's are good anvils provided they haven't been through a fire and lost the temper of the hardened face. It looks to be in good shape. Around here a price of $750-800 wouldn't be out of line. March 14, 20251 yr Check the other side, Paragon were at least at one time cast by the Soderfors foundry and are as good an anvil as ever made, provided it was cast by Soderfors. At 147lbs. you'll maybe get upwards of $1,500-2,000. However since Forged in Fire is off the air prices are coming down. If it wasn't cast by Soderfors I think Randy is probably right. Check the local online market place and see what anvils are going for and adjust for the one pictured being top shelf. Frosty The Lucky.
