Matt Weber
Found this Anvil on an auction site (Gov Deals). Looks like it is in good condition, but it is close so I can bring a bearing and test it. Can't quite identify it by markings, hoping an expert here can help. Current bid is $337, so regardless of maker, it's a pretty good deal. 4" W x 27" L x 11" T Thanks, Matt
Ridgeway Forge Studio
It seems to say Chicago, IL. But under it, under the M, I can almost make out what looks like "brooklyn" - this and the overall shape leads me to think Hay Budden. Its in good shape, clearly has been used to adjust shoes cold (the chips) but still seems like a good buy at that price.
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Welcome from the Ozark Mountains. I'm also thinking Hay Budden. If so there should be a serial number on the front foot under the horn and the base would have an indention like this. I can't control the wind, all I can do is adjust my sail’s. Nobody Special
Some companies in Chicago sold Hay Buddens under their own brand name. I think Kimbark did, for one. Likewise some hardware companies sold Trentons the same way.
