Biggsteve
Hi guys! I'm a retired cable splicer from south Florida, who is living in north Georgia, having the time of my life! I've worked with lead most of my career, doing the hot lead soldering on connectors and pot wiping the end joints. I've always wanted to get into the blacksmithing as a hobby, but the cost was too prohibitive. But, as things go, last weekend, at a yard sale, i got an old cast iron forge, two hand crank blowers, and a 4 inch post vise, all in trade for an old .22 pistol. And...here i am! lol

Ted T
I also Welcome you Biggsteve! You said: "And...here i am! lol", and I say: "YES YOU ARE". You landed in the right place to learn how to dent, twist steel, and tell stories. The main thing is that you have fun doing it. I wish you the very best as you explore the in's and out's of the Blacksmithing Craft! Ted
