FrontierForge
This is a hidden tang hunting knife forged from 1095. Instead of clay it's a differential quench in warm canola oil. The guard and pin are mild steel. The handle is Desert Ironwood. Both the blade and guard have been acid etched and to take the shine off of the pin I used Birchwood Casey's Perma Blue. The handle has a few coats of Birchwood Casey's Tru Oil. For the purposes of safety, since I make all of the sheaths for my knives by hand, the blade has not been sharpened yet. I sharpen my knives after sheath construction is complete.
