richard williams
I work one day a week at Dollywood in the Blacksmith shop(Sunday). At 72 years young I think that is about to stop. I have a small shop and somewhat behind in orders. I enjoy reading about and seeing what other smiths are doing. I welcome this Forum. richard williams,:)

Don A
Y'all need to pay attention to this guy... he knows his way around the anvil. I saw Richard at Dollywood years ago (before I ever took up the hammer) and in recent years have seen him demo at Ron (Bowie) Claiborne's hammer-in up in East Knoxville. Richard has impressed me as a minimalist. First time I saw him demo, he talked about how many tools and applications could be found in the anvil alone. He didn't need a great deal of tooling to get the job done; just hammer, tongs, and an anvil. That lesson really stuck with me. Good to have you on board, Richard. Don (you might recognize me if you saw me) from Blount Co.
