Hi all,

Kanca anvils are now sold by Princess Auto up here in Canada....that's Harbour Freight to you guys down south!:o

I'm very leery about this brand being sold by one of the big box stores....as with other manufacturers (Husqvarna, Lincold, Miller for example) traditionally the big box store version of the product is inferior in quality to the product sold by tool-specific dealers.

Does anyone have any insight or comments on this...I do not want to invest money in an anvil that is inferior in quality and perhaps maybe even a "second", and I know that Kanca has had hardness issues in the past.

Thoughts appreciated.
