ThomasPowers
The way the book is set up is that every chapter starts out as early as the author was able to find information on something and then gives examples through the years up into the victorian period so you get items ranging from anglo-saxon examples through 19th century patent pieces. Covering a wide time range makes this a particularly nice book for folks who do smithing for the re-enactment crowd.
