Robert Mayo
I made this blade back in 98 when i first started making knives and decided it needed a facelift. So i ground the edge off normalized then clayed it up re quenched it in canola oil. As i was fitting it up i decided to try and make a takedown knife for the first time. The blade ground from a file is 11 3/8" to the guard and o.a.l. is 17 3/4". Fittings are cold blued wrought iron with a bronze seppa and the handle is ironwood. I gained a lot more respect for those that do takedown knives doing this one. Enough rambling and as usual sorry for the poor photos.
