September 18, 20196 yr Im new here and im looking to get some info about this vise i have . The only marks on it is a star of david with an N in the center and the number 140 in another location. Any help would be appreciated

September 19, 20196 yr Is is a post vise, or bench vise? I believe the star symbol might indicate Steel City. Pictures would really help tho. Many a vise maker never marked them. The main thing (value/usability) to a post vise is if the screw and screw box is in good condition. The rest is pretty repairable.

November 9, 20196 yr New to the group. Can't ID this vise. Someone painted it. Need the base and rear collar. Broken teeth on collar. Broken ears on the base. It swivels and rotates.
