occreepy
I found a Trenton anvil in a pile of junk in man’s front yard. I’d like to find out if anybody knows what these model numbers mean. Edited November 4, 2018 by occreepy Add photos
ThomasPowers
Sorry not model numbers; however the number on the left is weight in pounds and the number on the right is the serial number: (which dates late 1943-early 1945). Great brand, check ball bearing bounce test to see if it's been annealed in a structure fire. Not knowing your location---over 100 countries participate here, I can't give you any help on the value save that if it passes testing it's should be in the upper end of what anvils go for in your area. Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Welcome to IFI... This will help you get the best out of the forum. https://www.iforgeiron.com/topic/53873-read-this-first/ Looks like someone took an angle grinder to the horn. Hopefully they didn't grind on the hardened face. Trenton's are very good anvils.
