August 1, 20187 yr A couple weeks ago I went out looking for a post vise. I hit a few antique shops and didn't have much luck. I left a note with the largest antique shop I went to. 2 hours later an older man called me and had this. An old Iron City vise. It's a little over 5 inches. I cleaned it up with a wire cup and BLO. The next project is building a stand for it.

August 1, 20187 yr Not bad at all in my opinion. Sure was a bit rusty but the screw is in nice shape and it should last past your lifetime. Good investment if you use it.
