ThomasPowers Posted July 27, 2018 Share Posted July 27, 2018 I think you mean that you don't have a london pattern anvil; of course they have only been around a couple of centuries in a fairly small area of the world vs the big chunk of metal anvils that have been around several THOUSAND years all over the place and were good enough to forge blades for the romans, celts, vikings, knights, samurai, etc and so on...
