June 11, 20188 yr I'm sorry to be so late mentioning this but next weekend, 06/16/18, Saturday & Sunday is the second annual hammer in Camp out at the Matanuska River Camp ground in Palmer just past the cemetary on the Old Glenn. There are 5 spaces reserved now but there are more open close by. We had a ball last year even though it rained and it's supposed to be sunny this time. come on out, play in the fire, swap lies and . . .oh whatever. Frosty The Lucky.

July 2, 20187 yr Author There's always next year. Going to make the meeting at Pat's Studio, Arctic Fires Bronze on Springer Loop across from Gunnysack Rd.? Saturday, July 14th. starting around 9:00 am. There wasn't a huge showing at the hammer in this year, most folks were off fishing. Weather was nice, just enough breeze to keep the bugs down to bearable. We banged away almost till quiet time then drank a few beers and told tall tales. It was a good time.
