January 28, 20188 yr got a couple pics last night. Wondering what you think how does this look? What adjustments would you make?
January 28, 20188 yr Author That's what I was needing to know. I'm using Frostys design. I'll start moving my tips further away from the mixing tube. What should I be looking for that its burning correct?
January 29, 20188 yr Reduce that flame as much as you can, by reducing input gas pressure. Your goal should be an outcome you can work with; not perfection.
January 29, 20188 yr Author Thanks Mikey, I dropped the gas pressure but then it starts sputtering? any suggestions are always welcome.
January 29, 20188 yr You may need to replace your burners with smaller ones. Every burner has a minimum stable fuel pressure; the larger the burners the greater the pressure. It's not like your present burners will be wasted; you will simply use them in another project.
January 31, 20188 yr I am guessing you have an .035 tip for your gas jet? what would changing to .030 do to this situation? what is the interior volume?
February 5, 20188 yr Author howling dog forge, interior is about 1000. I did change to .30 but its been a wild week. I'll get some pics in the next couple days.
February 5, 20188 yr 2 hours ago, Baxter said: I just recently built a Frosty T burner. I bought 0.035 and 0.025 mig tips. The 0.025 worked best for me though I used a strange setup. Experiment with grinding the tip down a little. You could also try regulating the amount of oxygen that gets to the gas.
