duckcreekforge
I am going to John Deere school Nov. 14 - 16 in Davenport, Iowa. I could bring a bucket of blacksmithing tools with me for the two evenings I'm free. I'm an intermediate blacksmith and would like to learn something new from an experienced smith as well as look at someone else's shop. What do you think? Dave51B
Gary, knowing you, I think if you don't find an experienced smith, you sure could help a beginner smith. I know I sure have picked up a few things from ya........ Thanks Dave
duckcreekforge
Hi Dave, I think you're right, that would work for me. Did you try hauling your bucket of tools to Hawaii?
Dave51B
Well I wanted to, but SLIM (sweet lady I married) wouldn't allow the heavy, sharp and pointy things in her luggage..... Dave
Casey J. Clark
I had no idea there were others on this site in my area. I'm about 40 minutes north of the Q.C area. I would love to learn from someone who actually knows what they're doing with a hammer and hot metal.
