David Kailey Posted March 25, 2017 Share Posted March 25, 2017 I wanted to update info on the Rhino anvil I bought from Steve McGrew of Incandescent Ironworks in Spokane, Wa. It was a no brain error as I live in Spokane and I was able to use of exercise before I bought it. However....I have been using it for over 4 years now and would say I have over 5 thousand hours of forging on it. It is still in fantastic shape and has no measurable wear or "saddle" forming. And yes I used a machine straight bar and feeler gauges. Honestly I feel like this anvil is under priced at $1260.00...knowing what I know now I'd happy pay $1500.00.
