Judging from Google maps: no, there is no one and nothing for miles and miles around you.

Just kidding, I am a member of both of the NC and SC ABANA groups. Ya gotta go where the action is. This is why the organizations exist, to link like-minded weirdos enthusiasts together.

The Philip Simmons Artist Blacksmith Guild has bi-monthly meetings all around the state. The next one is this Saturday Dec. 10 in Woodruff, near Spartanburg, and the next one is Feb. 11 in Conway, fairly close to you. $15 a year is dirt cheap for membership.

A PSABG member teaches Beginner to Advanced classes in nearby Hemingway.

There are a couple of ABS Master Bladesmiths in SC as well. JK holds invitation-only events at his place in Harleyville fairly often, as well as teaching classes.

There is also a state knifemakers group, SCAK.       https://southcarolinaassociationofknifemakers.org/

That info sufficient to get you started?
