Top end of screw with hexagonal tapered reception for the wheel to ensure no slipMild Steel screw with heavy duty square angular thread" Would anyone be able to tell me what steel is used in their fly press screw or are they all mild steel?
February 3, 200818 yr Flypress screws are made from impact resistant steels usually rich in Nickel. In Europe the steel used would probably be EN24. The steel is probably not far removed from L6.
February 3, 200818 yr Would anyone be able to tell me what steel is used in their fly press screw or are they all mild steel?hand fly press single sided and double sided and arbour press - Maneklal and Sons (Exports) the way I read it the P series all have mild steel, and thats everything on that page except the arbours. Id email them to confirm exactly what they mean or if there is a surface hardening ect
