John Martin
Today I got out my original spike knife that I had made, I polished it up with the wire brush and then grinded the blade into better shape and gave it a edge. Currently in the house waiting for my grandma to pick it up. They collect RR Spikes.Link to Album I don't know how to do thumbnails.
julian
good work, nice twist. Remember that spikes marked even as HC have only about 40-45 points of carbon in them, but they still work as blade steel. to put an image in a thread, put the (I think that iswhat it is) around the link. If you host your photos online (I use photobucket.com) it'll automatically have the thing there so you can just copy/paste that onto here. John Martin
I just upload my smithing ones to IFI, to my albums and gallery. I use photbucket for other stuff. I know that they don't make a really good knife, but people want them. You know what I mean.
Glenn
Easiest way is to copy the linked thumbnail URL below the IForgeIron Gallery image and paste it into the forum.

John Martin
She'd like it if it looked like a piece of scrap metal from the junk yard. She's just that way, but her husband will love it. Not my real grandpa.
