welder19 Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 One thing you'll want to do is get a bottle and use gas instead of flux core wire, the quality of weld is 10 times better with solid wire than with flux core. Bottles can be rented at a welding supply that does oxy/act bottles and they are cheap and so is solid wire compared to flux core, just make sure you set your polarity accordingly. welder19 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
