March 18, 201610 yr Hey guys. I'm looking for a place to buy bituminous coal in central ky. Any help would be much appreciated...thanks!
March 18, 201610 yr Contact the local blacksmithing organization, a farrier's supply or a farrier. (horse shoer) If they don't carry coal they'll know who does. Frosty The Lucky.
March 18, 201610 yr Hey bud! Welcome to the site! Cumberland Elkhorn Coal in Louisville is the place i know of. It can be a bit pricey for being in coal country at $400 a ton, or I think $12 for a 50 lb bag. Stockhoffs our local farrier supply unfortunately only has propane forges.
March 18, 201610 yr Author Thanks for the replies guys. I've tried to find info and a local blacksmithing organization but haven't found anything. Kinda makes me think we don't have anything close to me. I hadn't thought about farriers. thanks again!

Heck did you post at the same time as Little Turtle Forge? It looks like he's named your coal and club. Frosty The Lucky.
March 19, 201610 yr Author i live in Campbellsville. Its about an hour south of Lexington and Louisville. Its not a bad drive to get coal up there but Im just curious if there is anything closer to me.
March 21, 201610 yr I meant in your header that way it's in front of everybody that reads a post by you. Telling us in one post isn't going to stick in anybody's memory much past opening another thread. Frosty The Lucky.
