brucegodlesky
Since cold weather hit, my Fairbankls A seems to run out of adjustment, A little sloppy in the guides. How much clearance should I have between the head and guides? Looks to be 1/8" or so. bruce
Ice Czar
not having worked a Fairbanks not sure Im qualified to say but we have at least that much on our little giants, we lube up the guides at least once a day, a little lose but well greased seems to me appropriate to keep from binding and transferring force to other parts considering the forces involved. Id check the guides alignment, and condition closely though if its a change from normal operation.
