Timekiller Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 I have been a lurker on here for a while. I have been welding for a while, and I was always interested in metal fab. I built a BBQ forge a few months ago, and recently built a much better stationary forge. I currently have a 6"x10" cylinder of steel ~85lbs. for an anvil, so far every time I set up the forge, I build a pair of tongs. Blacksmithing is a great hobby! I have a Miller 180SD ac/dc stick/tig, that I have used for mild, stainless, and aluminum. I also have a cheapo mig/FC wire welder. And an oxy/act., rig. This forum is great! there is so much helpful info (esp. the blueprints) and everyone is so kind! Quote
