A Mr. Fels though he'd think he was in trouble if I called him Mr. in a conversation. No site links though, maybe later.Frosty The Lucky.Corky Storer ( who was selling in the tail-gate section at Western States conf) is the guy i saw using a 20 or 30# handheld riveting hammer on hot steel (1/4” to 3/8”) ( with a big hairy rosebud).EA Chase used lighter hammers on heavier hot steel to great effect.Both of them clamped the hell out of the perimeters on sheet /plate.Kirk Mc Neil has also used fairly hefty annd held air hammers on this excellent gargoyles.The heavier the stock..the longer the stroke of the hammer.Chase’s soon to be released book has pics of assorted bits…Basically, mostly, they are just chasing bits wrought large.Fine trigger control seems to be critical.
