Keith Olson
Howdy, I'm not afraid to say that I am a noob when it comes to metal working. Most of my experience came from shop class a long time ago and a land far away. Last year I bought a welder and I have the hankering to get into knifesmithing and maybe casting. Blacksmithing also intrigues me, and that is how I ended up here.Since spring has sprung (I hope) out here in Eastern MT, She Who Must Be Obeyed wants to "screen in" the lower portion of our porch railing so we can let the cat out at night so a gate at the top of the steps is in order, but more on that in a different post.I am a Retired USAF Aircraft Hydro/Air Refueling Systems Master Sergeant that landed my dream job of being aVeterans Service Officer, so building my Frankenjeep, trying to get my wife's jeep back on the road and metalworking fills my need to be mechanical while being a VSO keeps me out of trouble and productive. Cheers!
