njanvilman
New addition to the collection. The name is JH Seyfert. He lived from 1838 to 1916, probably in Pennsylvania. I am estimating this to be from around 1860 -1880. It is a fine piece of toolmaking. I think it was hammered from one piece. Very impressive is the horn shape and how clean the transitions are between the horn and body and shank. It weighs 11 lb.
