February 1, 201511 yr Author " Falling Apart at the Seams " I made this piece last year from 1/8 flat stock.It was forged from one piece and welded to the stand. I used a small grinder to polish it .made the slices with a cutoff tool and then bent each piece for the effect shown. After all of that I clear coated the entire piece. It stands about 12 " tall. Was kinda apprehensive weather or not to make the slices but in the end I am very happy I did. You never know if you are going too far sometimes....It can ruin the piece.....Sometimes you just got to say @#$ it and go for it......
