Glenn
Oktoberfest is the CBA’s fall event held at Fritz Hagist’s ranch in Cazadero, CA. 2011 Oktoberfest The first weekend in October is considered sacred for many California smiths. Haigst Ranch hosts one of the best, most scenic events in blacksmithing. Situated 10 minutes from the Northern California Coast, Oktoberfest is a 3 day, all meals included, camp on premises event. There are generally two demonstration venues and a teaching station. This event is great for getting to know other smiths in the area and experience what could be called a “Blacksmithing Retreat”. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
