Quenchcrack
Well after 9 months and only two brief forging sessions, I finally seem to be healed up enough to actually work at the forge again. Last weekend I made a set of log tongs to move wood into and around an outdoor fire. They look sorta like ice tongs but with a longer handle. The business ends were forged to blunt points and the jaws forged over a 6" radius. Handles were just forged back and tapered to a gentle scroll finish. Simple to be sure but it was nice to be able to actually make something after so long on the injured reserve list. :P

sandpile
Q.C. Congrats-- glad to hear you have recovered enough to hammer. Just remember what caused it (if you know). Don't squeese the hammer. GRIN Chuck
