I'm looking for an oiler for a Champion 400 forge blower. Any ideas as where to find one? Thanks bruce

Are you talking about the oil port above the gears? It's just one of the little spring flap covered oil posts you see on machinery everywhere. Hmmmm, come to think of it I don't recall if mine has the little flap on it.

I just put a little (half dozen or so drops) 30wt motor oil in the hole and it works fine. Chainsaw bar oil works well but gets stiff if you live in cold country, say teens and below.

Frosty, the other blower I have has a brass spring loaded affair. Other 400's I've seen have something different.

Mine had a spring loaded dust cap but oiling was done with a can - I think McMaster Carr may carry something that will work for you.

I wanted to put this one back original but it's no big deal. I can go with the spring cap deal.
This blower is in really nice shape save the oiler and wooden handle. Even has some of the original paint. Thganks guys. bruce

All the 400s I have seen have the spring loaded dust cap...got any pictures of the other thing you mentioned. Pretty neat! I am curious...

My Beaudry hammer has a little glass oiler on the main bearing, which has a needle valve that I can set to drip or flow. I'd bet most are 1/8 pipe fittings or something similar and you may have some luck finding one at a flea market or antique show.

Im holding it open with a punch
The one I need the oiler for has a square holedown into the gearbox.
Probably a piece broke off on the oiler shown.
The Buffalos I have here all have aspring loaded lift cap like ya see on older motors.

Thanks Hollis, I don't have a McM/Carr but checked my MSC and found a whole slew of oilers.
