John Martin Posted October 7, 2007 Share Posted October 7, 2007 This weekend, I went with my family to a flea market and i found a 90lb anvil for $160 amazing low price. The anvil was in working conditon, I brought 100 dollars with me, and i asked my dad to pay the other 60 and i pay him back. But no. It was a real cheap one to. Blacksmith Jim Posted October 7, 2007 Share Posted October 7, 2007 Was the hardy hole positioned diagonal to the face? There are a lot of cast iron 90lb Russian anvils out there. I would probably rather go get a big random block of steel from a scrap yard then spend the money on a cast iron anvil..
