TheoRockNazz
Darin of Hellgate Forge sent me a box-o-wrought-iron last year, in exchange I forged him this knife. I was inspired by Owen's movie where he moved the knife as he quenched to create a random hamon. I had heat treated twice already with APG36 and wasn't getting the results I wanted, and was a bit worried the recycled file was more modern than I previously thought, so I tried Owen's method. Worked beautifully (on one side more than the other, but that's randomness for you haha). The guard is Darin's wrought iron from a cart wheel I twisted and drew - probably a tad larger than a typical guard because I wanted to showcase the iron. Screwed up pinning the guard though... it's secure but not pretty. Cocobolo scales and brass pins.
Camero68
It looks great, like the proportions. The beautiful handle goes well with the great blade. Great job!
