Katsumoto Posted September 7, 2007 Share Posted September 7, 2007 Hello All, Does anyone have any information on how to go about grinding a blade with convex sides? I have seen Japanese style blades with the convex side and have read about them in a few magazines. But does anyone have a step by step approach to grinding one. I am a beginner in the art of stock removal method of knife making. I will be attempting to make a 7 3/4" tanto from a peice of 1095 carbon steel (1 1/2" x 5/16" x 12").
