{074} anyone know what this means is it as simple as weight

    Hay Budden is an american anvil; made in Brooklyn NY and so weight markings are in Pounds.

    Without seeing a pic that is what I would go with. (could always be added later by an owner as inventory control number, etc why I said a pic would tell best)

    A light anvil if you see it you can tell if that's the weight by lifting...
